Creative Arts Therapy
Creative Arts Therapy is not about being an artist; no skills in the arts are required. Children draw or write stories naturally, allowing their imagination to do the work. Adults can too.
When we explore our experience in creative forms, we enlarge the possibilities of knowing and understanding ourselves. Creative arts therapy is an effective way to use the arts to complement words, particularly when we feel unable to describe how life is.
We converse and at times you are offered to draw, write, or use objects and metaphors to represent your current circumstances and the way in which they affect you.
Understanding what you do gives you choices. Creating images is an established and powerful way to understand and resolve life's challenges.
