Membership
Membership at Bloomhill is aimed at simply helping to raise the funds that we require to keep the centre running. Our core membership is for those who require our services the most, those of your suffering from cancer either directly or indirectly. But we also offer other levels of membership to allow you to take advantage of our services and therapies whilst donating to Bloomhill.
There are 3 categories of membership for the organisation:
- Client Membership
- Ordinary Membership
- Volunteer Membership
Client Membership
Client Membership is for individuals and their families who become clients of Bloomhill. They can access all Bloomhill services, are put on the mailing list for newsletters and notices and have full voting rights. The membership fee for this category is $25 for singles and $40 for a family (Two Adults and two children)
Entitling you to the following:
- A FREE initial assessment by a Registered Nurse
- Regular newsletter
- Access to regular support groups
- The Volunteer service, available 24 hours
- A 24 hour on -call phone is available for urgent enquiries
- FREE access to the Bloomhill library, which includes a variety of books, videos, tapes & CDs
Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is for those people who would like to support Bloomhill and have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting; and/or who would like to be nominated for a position on the Management Committee. They are also put on the list for newsletters and notices.
The membership fee for this category is now $20.
Volunteer Membership
Volunteer membership is offered to all people who wish to volunteer their time to Bloomhill but who do not wish to have the rights offered to Ordinary Members.
However, they must register as a volunteer to ensure they are covered for public liability. They are also put on the list for newsletters and notices.
Volunteer Membership is free.
