  • To access the service and facilities at Bloomhill you need to become a member

     PLEASE NOTE-: Before becoming a member please ring Bloomhill to speak with a registered nurse

  • Entitling you to the following:

    *    A FREE initial assessment by a Registered Nurse
    *    1/2 yearly newsletter
    *    Access to regular support groups

    *    The Volunteer service, available 24 hours
    *    A 24 hour on -call phone is available for urgent enquiries 
    *    FREE access to the Bloomhill library, which includes a 
          variety of books, videos, tapes & CD""s

    Schedule of Services and Costs:
    Membership

    Initial joining fee is $25 ($40 per Family)
    This fee is renewable annually.

    Support Groups:
    Patient & Carer Support Groups
    Loss & Grief Support Groups
    Relaxation & Meditation
    Volunteer Services
    Support includes carer respite and companionship. 
    A buddy system is also available.

    Transport:
    Transport is provided for medical appointments and for Bloomhill
    services. Forty - eight hour notice is required, where possible. 
    There is no charge for transport, however donations are appreciated. 
    Should transport to Brisbane be required, please enquire about
    ""The Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme". 

    Therapies:
    Counselling          $30 ($20 concession)
    Massage               $30 ($20 concession)
    Reflexology          $30 ($20 concession)
    Reiki                      $30 ($20 concession)
    Concession applies only to current Health Care/Senior card holders.

Becoming a Member of the Bloomhill Family
 
There are 3 categories of membership for the organisation:
 
Client Membership
Ordinary Membership
Volunteer Membership
 
Client Membership is for individuals and their families who become clients of Bloomhill.
They can access all Bloomhill services, are put on the mailing list for newsletters and notices and have full voting rights. 
The membership fee for this category is $25 for singles and $40 for a family.
 
Ordinary Membership is for those people who would like to support Bloomhill and have
voting rights at the Annual General Meeting; and/or who would like to be nominated for a
position on the Management Committee.  They are also put on the list for newsletters and notices.
The membership fee for this category is now $20.
 
Volunteer membership is offered to all people who wish to volunteer their time to Bloomhill but who do not wish to have the rights offered to Ordinary Members.  However, they must register as a volunteer
to ensure they are covered for public liability. They are also put on the list for newsletters and notices.
 
Volunteer Membership is free.

Bloomhill is a non - government funded charity with
public benevolence status. Bloomhill subsidises many of the services provided. 
Your donations are vital and will be rewarded by our ability to continue offering 
services to as many people as possible.  Many people who wish to avail themselves 
of our services are financially challenged due to their circumstances. 
Your tax-deductable donations help us to subsidise the services and are warmly received.
Sponsorship for those financially challenged is at the discretion of the assessement team.   

Bloomhill receives no on-going government funding and relies on the support and goodwill of businesses and individuals.
Please help by making a small donation.
