Men's Health Matters Workshop - Saturday March 21

You are invited to find out why Men’s Health Matters – an initiative of Hand Heart Pocket the Charity of Freemasons Queensland and the Sunshine Coast Freemasons.

This informative session will be delivered by CheckUP alongside local health professionals and will cover a range of topics including:

• Nutrition and physical activity
• Early detection of cancer
• Important checkups for men
• Diabetes and heart disease
• Mental health and wellbeing
• Relationships

Bloomhill Cancer Care are proud to be co-hosting the Sunshine Coast workshop at our Wellness Centre in Buderim. All members of the community are welcome to join!

The workshop will include a BBQ lunch.

Bloomhill Lymphoedema information and support service (BLISS)

At Bloomhill we have a dedicated service to support clients who are living with lymphoedema. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels throughout the body tasked with draining lymph fluid from the tissues back into the bloodstream.
Oncology Massage

Oncology massage is a specialised form of massage that is provided for our clients which can assist them to relax, experience gentle touch, relieve pain and discomfort and feel more positive generally.
Reflexology

Reflexology is a technique that applies gentle pressure to the feet, hands or face to bring about a state of relaxation and to help the body's own healing process by encouraging a state of equilibrium.
Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is practiced at Bloomhill by AHPRA Chinese Medicine Board registered Acupuncturists. It involves the insertion of fine sterile needles into strategic points on the skin, to stimulate and regulate the energy (Qi) that circulates throughout the body.
