We hope all of our supporters and donors had as great a festive period as we did in our households. We all had a beautiful break with our gorgeous families and are now ready for an exciting year ahead.

Arriving back in mid-January, we discovered our Christmas Appeal had raised $34,524 of our $35,000 target. Go Sunshine Coast!

Thank you, early bird donors!

Individuals and businesses didn’t stop giving as the clock ticked over into 2021. It’s as though our supporters in the community had new year resolutions about Bloomhill being important to them, and the donations have kept coming. To give you an idea:

Sunshine Coast Cricket Association’s Pink Stumps Day on 23 January raised over $2,000 for Bloomhill at matches across the Coast. Wow!

Sunshine Coast Flooring Xtra is your go-to store for all things to make your home beautiful – from carpets and rugs, hard flooring to blinds of all kinds, exterior awnings and shutters. Bobby and Chantelle pride themselves on their customer service, and have been a part of our Community Give Back Program for almost 2 years. This local business donated a cheque for $2,980 from jobs completed over the past few months.

A huge thank you to all of our donors! You all know who you are! We are truly grateful for your generosity. These funds will go to the greatest need here at Bloomhill, which support our clients in a variety of ways, such as our Transport to Treatment program, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Exercise Physiology, Counselling and Psychology, ensuring compassionate cancer care and support is always there for those in need.

It’s not all about the money!

Locally owned business Bundilla Pest Control brings peace of mind to our centre, ensuring that we are pest and termite free for the next year, an in-kind donation of over $9,500. Susan, Beau and the team believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed in their home – just like us here at Bloomhill!

The New Year is the time to start a new chapter, and with our new Chief Executive Officer Christopher John on board, we are excited for new beginnings.

We are truly thankful for the vision and continuous support of those in the community who value all we do here at Bloomhill. THANK YOU!
