Our #bethereforBloomhill campaign for JUNE has received another much-welcomed and healthy boost from Gerry O'Shaughnessy and the fantastic team from Budget Direct - powered by Auto & General.

Gerry and his employee Kim Kelliher, who is also currently a Bloomhill client, understand first hand the huge impact of cancer on their staff and families.

As well as supporting Kim and the Bloomhill Lymphoedema Service - BLISS, in September last year the organisation held a casual dress day to honour the memory of former colleague and also Bloomhill client Justine Hudson, a dear friend of Kim's. This raised $1,000 from the staff who took part in the event, which was then also dollar-matched by the company.

This week Gerry and Kim called in to present this amazing gift of $5,000 for our current campaign.

This amount goes a LONG way at our wellness centre in Buderim.

$5,000 = The cost of supporting 10 new clients at Bloomhill, ensuring out of pocket costs are covered for nursing, allied heath and wellbeing assessments, so that clients can focus their energy on their health and not worry about their finances.

Please join us in June and help us meet our goals for our first ever GIVING DAY on June 21.

It's super easy for local businesses and organisations to get on board - simply head to our website and register to either DONATE or hold an EVENT next Friday:

Help us to continue supporting people of all ages on the Sunshine Coast to live well with cancer.
