Bloomhill Cancer Care is proud to partner with the Breast Cancer Thrivership Program.

On March 7 we will facilitate a seminar on Sexual Health. As part of the Autumn Seminar Series this event will take place 9-11am at our centre at 58 Ballinger Rd, Buderim.

The panel of knowledgeable speakers includes Dr Michelle Morris, Annette Bezear and Fiona Rogers.

As a Medical Oncologist Dr Michelle Morris is experienced in treating a range of solid tumour malignancies. She has been active in improving cancer clinical trial access for patients on the Sunshine Coast.

Annette Bezear is a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist with more than 25 years clinical experience. As a consultant she provides pelvic floor rehabilitation and continence management for both men and women.

With more than 30 years as a physiotherapist Fiona Rogers specialises in women’s health. In continuing to work locally, Fiona is passionate about multidisciplinary care for patients.

Developed by health professionals, the five-step Breast Cancer Thrivership Program runs three times a year in a variety of Sunshine Coast locations. Lectures can be attended through the year, as often as wanted.

This respected program of interactive lectures and Q&A helps with an understanding of how breast cancer impacts life and how best to minimise that impact. Topics include surgery and post-operative recovery, lymphoedema prevention and management, the importance of nutrition and exercise, psychological aspects of breast cancer and looking after your sexual health.
