Thank you very much for your kind donations!
Our Bloomhill Op Shops are incredibly grateful for the recent jump in donated goods and are happy to keep on receiving!

September 30 to October 6 is NATIONAL OP SHOP WEEK so, more than ever, we would love to remind you that we need your pre-loved items for our stores. A huge thank you to Glasshouse & Maleny Country News for their 'Love your Op Shop' feature on Bloomhill this month (see below).

We can all donate high quality goods, volunteer in a shop, or buy some new gear. Whichever way we help, we can all make a difference and give a hand. That’s what National Op Shop Week is all about!

Why are our Bloomhill Op Shops so important? Here’s three simple reasons.

  1. A large proportion of our community cancer care and support services are funded by the income from our Bloomhill Op Shops - with 80% of funds raised going directly towards supporting these services.
  2. Our Op Shops help many Sunshine Coast residents and visitors find a bargain. They also help people who are having a hard time to update their wardrobe or purchase essential household items at low cost.
  3. Buying second-hand is a great way to reduce our impact on the environment. Plus, donating good quality products keeps them from going to landfill!

So let’s get active today!

If you are having a Spring clean out, please drop your pre-loved clothes, toys, books, furniture, bedding, shoes, bags, blankets, electrical items and lamps, bric-a-brac (e.g. kitchen homewares, china/glass ornaments etc.) to one of our Op Shops which can be found in 11 locations along the Sunshine Coast.

A full list of all our stores can be found here

If you have any larger items that require collecting from your home, please call our Distribution Centre in Kunda Park on 5445 6858

Just remember "If you wouldn't give it to a mate, then please don't donate."

Thank you from our entire Bloomhill family - and happy National Op Shop Week!
