Enduring Gifts are significant philanthropic donations, or gifts in wills, dedicated to ensuring Bloomhill can realize its ambitious vision to care for the future needs of the Sunshine Coast community

One of the greatest challenges facing Bloomhill is continuing to fund increasing demands for our services - due to a very welcome but compounding issue of increasing cancer survivorship rates.

Our dream is to offer FREE cancer care support services to all Sunshine Coast community members who have received a cancer diagnosis and are facing financial, social, cultural or geographic barriers that prevent them accessing essential cancer treatment and support services.  To us, everybody deserves a safe space to navigate their cancer journey.

This year we have launched a suite of priority giving areas to help pool and direct donations from far and wide towards helping achieve this dream. Simply put, the more money we raise, the more people we can support by sponsoring or subsiding our cancer support services.

However, there is so much more we could be doing!

Bloomhill has a range of exciting projects and programs being developed as part of a larger social enterprise business model – which is building greater sustainability into our business through diversified income streams.

Leaving a gift in your Will enables you to play an impactful role in helping us to commence these projects and set us on the path to realising our dream sooner.

Leaving a gift in your Will to Bloomhill

Thank you for considering leaving a gift to Bloomhill Cancer Care in your Will.

Supporting Bloomhill with a gift in your Will is one of the most precious gifts that you can give. Because of this we make the following promises to anybody considering leaving a gift in their Will - regarding how we talk to you, how we treat your gift and how we will recognise you. These are our commitments to you and we take them very seriously.

Our commitment to you:

  • We will always respect your privacy. We recognise and appreciate that your will is completely personal to you.
  • We recognise that, rightly, your friends and family will always come first.
  • You can tell us that you’ve left a gift if you want to, and we’d love to hear – but you don’t need to and we won’t ask
  • If you do choose to tell us, we will give you the choice about how we talk to you in future about our work.
  • We will give you and your family as much choice as we can about how and where your gift will be used to make a difference for Bloomhill clients and their families and carers.
  • We will use your gift carefully and cost effectively so that it has the greatest impact for Bloomhill
  • We will give you the opportunity to be connected with the work we do, that is made possible by gifts like yours.
  • At any time in the future you have the absolute right to change your mind about a gift left in your will to Bloomhill
  • We will handle whatever gift you leave us efficiently and also with care, sensitivity and respect.
