Do you have difficulty getting to treatment appointments? Are you aware Bloomhill offers a door-to-door transport service?

Now that Covid-19 Isolation restrictions have been relaxed, Bloomhill’s transport service is back on the road ferrying clients to and from treatments, appointments and other support services – with Covid-safe practices in place.

Resuming or continuing cancer treatment is important and Bloomhill can play a role in making sure treatment schedules are met ensuring the best health outcomes.

Our transport services are subsidised because at Bloomhill we don’t want financial constraints to be a barrier to treatment and support.

We understand Covid-19 has impacted the finances of many and even if you haven’t used our transport services before we encourage you to contact us to see if you are eligible. Clients who have an aged care package through My Age Care can utilise  our transport services, which can be fully billed to your package.

We also have assessment processes to help ensure money is not an obstacle to receiving care and support.

Those who are already clients should contact their Bloomhill nurse to discuss the transport service.

During Covid Isolation telehealth services played an important role in keeping people safe at home, now many are feeling more confident about accessing services in person Bloomhill is here to help again.

As CEO Chris Franck said, “We are committed to ensuring cancer care and support is there when it is needed most, so we have assessment processes in place to help ensure money is not a barrier to access services for people in need.”

Contact 5445 5794 for a quick obligation-free chat to discuss eligibility or for more information about our transport services.
