With thanks to the Lendlease Foundation Community grant of $10,000 Bloomhill Cancer Care is now the proud owner of a brand new Bloomhill Community Services Food Trailer, which has been designed for all seasons and multi-purpose use.

This new addition enables Bloomhill to expand its community development activities and take up opportunities to fundraise at a range of Sunshine Coast events, including having a presence at Bloomhill’s own Cotton Tree and Sunshine Coast Forest Markets.

Director, Advancement Sarah Wetton is delighted with the outcome of the grant.

"This grant is so fantastic for Bloomhill for three fabulous reasons.

  1. By its very name, the food trailer enables us to build relationships within our community, raising awareness of our services and Bloomhill’s commitment to be there for the Sunshine Coast community when they need us most.
  2. The Bloomhill Community Food Trailer  will help us raise much needed funds so that we can continue to subsidise cancer care and support services offered at our Wellness Centre in Buderim.
  3. Last but not least, the food trailer offers a great opportunities for our fabulous volunteer family to welcome more people from all walks of life to build skills and friendships - united by their shared purpose, passion and pride to support people of all ages to live well with cancer on the Sunshine Coast.”

Bloomhill and its fabulous volunteer community offers a life line for many in need, providing a safe and nurturing environment for Sunshine Coast residents to navigate their own cancer journey.

A huge thank you to Paul Morton and the team at Push Productions once again for their fabulous design work and signage. Push Productions are a long term supporter of Bloomhill Cancer Care and the trailer looks amazing.

All moneys raised from the Bloomhill Community Services Food Trailer will go directly towards supporting our clients.
