About our group classes

Pilates is a whole body strengthening form of exercise that emphasises core strength, flexibility, correcting muscle imbalances, and encouraging correct posture.

Pilates is low impact and therefore appropriate for all fitness levels, although core strength is the basis of Pilates it also incorporates mobilising stretches for improved joint function, as well as upper and lower limb strengthening exercises.

Pilates exercises are designed to be modified to suit all levels of fitness and Pilates experience.

Pilates classes at Bloomhill are mat based and run Monday and Wednesday 1-2pm with classes being delivered by our exercise physiologist.
